Summary: Creatures and creations and whatnot from the Battle Dome are appearing all over. This is for the sake of having a mass log available for everyone, so have a free-for-all~

[... What the hell is that? There's a giant stone structure where the library ought to be. A word hovers in Robert's head a moment as he stops to marvel at it with a mixture of confusion and interest, bringing his nanocomputer up almost reflexively to take a holophotograph. "Castle"...?

... Okay there is a giant black floating mass right behind Robert. He makes a little frightened noise, but beyond that doesn't do more than stare and back away.]

... Er... S-Salutations...?

[He knows they're holograms by now (possibly anyway) but it's still freaky knowing it was floating right there while he was trying to take pictures.

... Somebody want to help do a little ghostbusting? He's a scientist, he's not good at these paranormal things!]

Yay time to mess with Robert's head some more~

[ The phantom, female bodied and shaped as if it were wearing a dress, will creep closer hand outstretching in a motion akin to wanting to strangle the scientist. But it will stop and laugh. Twirling a finger through the black mass of what appeared to be hair. It'll dart under the floor and then appear right in front of the scientist. Head tilting back and forth as if it were curious.

Helios meanwhile will be in the stacks nearby, hearing that familiar voice he has to go investigate. Gods if the phantoms did anything to Robert he'd be furious, if not a bit ashamed. ] Robert? Is that you?

[ Robert might hear the familiar voice getting steadily closer. If anything it was at least only two stacks away. ]

Great! \o/

[As the hand outstretches, Robert leans back a little bit - just enough to pitch him off-balance. Can a simulation strangle you to death?

Then of course zie dives into the ground and disappears. Um, okay. Robert glances at the ground until - it is right in front of him oh god what how does that even work. He actually squeals then, a little note of fear, before pitching back again. Whirlwinding his arms, he manages to catch himself before he falls right on top of the simulation.

But the voice of his best friend that he just made up with awhile ago grabs his attention, even in the midst of panic.]

H-Helios...?!

There, e-er, appears to be a... translucent h-hominid sapient here...

Robert! Hold on! I'll, I'll be there in a second. [ It's probably jarring for the other to even be in the same vicinity as the phantoms. And they're acting ever so strange lately. Still he knows they can't exactly harm a person. But Helios makes his way to Robert rather fast anyway. Not wanting to leave the other alone with them for too long.

There's another phantom now in the shape of a man this time peering curiously at Robert's nanocomputer. It'll appear right beside Robert or a little in front of him. It might reach out to touch the unfamiliar apparatus in the scientist's arms. ]

[Robert holds his nanocomputer protectively closer. He isn't sure if the holograms of the phantoms can damage his nanocomputer in any way - so far, the others haven't seemed to, but then again they haven't tried to attack. And he doesn't want to take chances.

In the meantime he's just... going to hope Helios shows up before anything bad happens.]

... Are you... f-familiar with where we are, b-by... by any chance...?

[folkloristic]

[ But Robert they want to see that curious little contraption you haaave. Just give it over and they'll promise to behave. The male phantom will slide silently along the floor in front of the scientist shaking it's head. The female figure just places a pitch black hand over where it's mouth would be shaking her head as well. ] You won't get an answer out of them I'm afraid. They can't speak, ah, well. They do but only to me usually.

[ Helios is behind you now Robert smiling a little as he watches the phantoms closely. ]

[Robert half-turns to Helios, wanting to step closer to him but not wanting to bother the phantom-holograms. Even if they are simulations, they're pretty accurate ones.]

They... are from your world then, Helios...?

At least they seem less a-aggressive than some of the other creatures here...

[ helios nods sighing and rubbing the back of his head. His eyes will close for a few moments. ] Yes. They're connected to the castle. [ He'll motion to the library. ]

Which has currently taken residence here. They, they usually don't act this waay. [ Sorry Robert. The change in tone and undeserved inflection is due to the other female phantom, not the one still in front of the two of them, but a different one whispering into Helios' ear. Helios will turn half a mind to shoo them off. They give him the heebee jeebees when they do that. ]

Honestly! I can't believe you, would you stop that, The three of you have no business touching people or keeping them from these books you know. [ Huff. ]

This isn't actually the castle...I-I don't think.

I... think that most of this is simulated, actually... [Robert's voice is almost thoughtful.] I am not... entirely c-certain, but considering the behaviour of other things...

[It doesn't stop them from being a little creepy though. Especially not when they float threateningly close by.]

... Castle... [Didn't Helios mention something about a castle once?] So that is what this structure is called...

It is very strange. No metal anywhere... [And, uh. Lots of books. Lots of books. He really hopes those are simulated at least, because the thought of all those trees dying is far worse than any phantom.]

Simulated, hm? So illusions essentially? Though you can actually feel and touch them...

[ Helios nods looking rather pleased with the surrounding structure. ] Yes. It's...it's my home. Sprensonne Academy. Strange is just one of the castle's many charming features Robert. [ Wry grin is go! ]

I wonder if any other parts showed up...

Well, parts of Terra have. Spontaneously. I... am certain that the rest of the Academy might show itself in time...

... [Robert looks around the room again, curiously. Despite all the books, it is really very nice. Lots of space.]

... Would... would you like to show me around, perhaps...?

I'd like to see it, should it show up.

[ Helios blinks. He wasn't expecting that, especially since how the phantoms have been behaving. ] I'd love to!

Thank you, Helios... [Robert falls into step beside Helios, which is nice both because he likes the reassurance that they're still friends, and also because it keeps the phantoms at bay.]

May I ask more about where we are, at present...?

Of course! I do love tours that have questions to go with them. Shows that the group in question has a keen interest after all. [ He motions with both arms at the space around them. ]

This, this is the central library. I-I also have a private one, for myself. That usually has more magically related books. But here the students can find everything and anything they need for research and sourcing for papers.

[And Robert does have an interest, both because this is his friend's world - his friend's life, before Luceti - and because he always wants to know about things.]

So this is... like a reference database, but with books. That... that makes sense. Any good educational institution ought to have access to information...

... What sort of subjects does your school cover, beyond magically-inclined ones? [He's trying to picture Helios teaching science or computer classes and it's not working.]

Ah, well, the magically inclined ones are taught separately. Can't have my human students getting all...confused and what not. [ He pauses in their walking. ]

But we do teach mythology, history, sciences, maths, multiple languages, basically what you'd find at most schools.
