Right now Kazooie just needs to clear these enemies away. As much as this is Banjo's job - helping annoying people, that is - her hero-ing tendencies won't let her ignore someone so obviously helpless and in need of a cool adventurer to save her. Like Tooty. Except taller and less bearlike.]

[And with that inspiring declaration, Grune takes a few steps back and...black and purple lights appear around her feet? Waaait a minute.]

One of them, a pointy-headed flame demon with an irritating laugh, settles itself down on its little flying carpet and attempts to rush at Kazooie. She dodges out of its way, some of her feathers getting singed in the process.
A second enemy, a gray barrel with angry eyes, drips toxic sludge menacingly as it shambles towards where Grune and Kazooie are.]
You're not gonna beat me that easily!

[Darkness briefly surrounds Grune, and then an orb of black, purple, red, and white light encircles the flame demon. If Kazooie brushes against the darkness, it won't hurt her at all, but the demon is another story.]

[Kazooie turns to the Toxi-Klang, noticeably annoyed. It's managed to shuffle close enough to present a problem.]
Oh, for - [As a sort of panic reaction, Kazooie Wing Whacks the Toxi-Klang, knocking it back a little - definitely not enough to hurt it, but enough to get it out of the immediate range.]
Get back! These guys release Toxi-Gags when they die, and I don't think you wanna choke! [Come to think of it, neither does Kazooie. She attempts to back up herself.]
