[That... is a very large umbrella. And under it is a very familiar looking blue-haired and brown, fuzzy-eared boy. So Nagisa walks on over and peers over you. Hope you don't mind her face almost directly above yours, Leon.]

[Leon had been dozing with his head cushioned on his book, his ears flicking once in awhile when sand or a faint breeze bothers them. When he hears his name, Leon's first reaction is to yawn and stretch a little.

...Of course, he wasn't expecting something to be hovering right above him, so he looks positively startled.]

--Ah! [significant pause] ...Nagisa?

[Nagisa will forever find your ears to be adorable, Leon. She was rather enjoying watching them flick occasionally. Startling him though, that she didn't completely enjoy. She feels kind of guilty, actually. And so she apologizes.]

A-ah, I didn't mean to startle you! I-I'm sorry...!

N-- no, it's okay. I was just taking a nap. [Geez, why is she so c--? Okay, no, he did not just think that.] How are you?

O-oh, okay! I wasn't sure if you were sleeping or not, so...

I'm good! I'm kind of tired since I got up early to help Minako set up, but I met and got to talk to some people, so I'm having fun! Are you enjoying yourself?

I'm-- [Er. Well, he had just been napping and basically relaxing, so...] Yeah, I've been enjoying myself. Do you usually get to go to the beach, back home?

[Hey, napping can be fun too!] Yaay! I'm glad that you are! [She gives a big smile.]

Umm, sometimes! I get sick often and easily, so we don't really go that much at all. I've gone a few times though, and I really enjoy it!

[Sick often and easily. He winces inwardly, hoping he didn't remind her of something bad. But ... she seemed as cheerful as ever, so...]

I hope you don't burn easily, since you said you've been here for awhile.

I have plenty of sunscreen, so I'm okay! Plus I've been under my umbrella [ella ella eh eh eh] and playing in the sand for most of the day, so I wasn't really out in the sun much.

[Though her shoulders may be slightly burned. That's practically inevitable anyway though, so that matters not. No worries!]

That's good. [Maybe if he ever has the nerve to go through with it, he would ask her why should got sick.] ...Playing in the sand? Like making sand castles?

Yep! Though they didn't come out very good at all... So I made some sand dangos instead. [She's slowly taking over Luceti with dangos. 8|a]

Sand dangos? [Okay, that sounds really weird. Funny, but weird.] You really like those dangos, don't you?

I love them very, very much! But... I-I wasn't sure what else to build in the sand, so dangos were all I could think of. [Her slight embarrassment may be a bit audible.] It's silly, isn't it? [She gives a light laugh.]

I guess I don't understand the appeal of dangos. Did you grow up with them or something?

Well, yes, I've always found them to be really cute. Most people my age don't really like them anymore though. Or just most people in general... I guess they're kind of childish. Big Dango Family merchandise is kind of hard to find in my world now. But I still love them.

Ohh, I see. I guess that's not really odd. I mean, kids like these big bunnies, back home. There's stuffed toys, mascots, and drawings, and such...
