Who: luceti What: See subject title! When: August 14, 2011 Where: The beach! Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once? Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.
[Minako's load might suddenly feel slightly, slightly lighter. Loki's already taken everything light enough for him to handle, so the most he can do is try and double-team boxes with other people.]
[Pulling out a beach towel and umbrella that she had brought with her a little while back, she smiles whimsically at Loki as she points over to a nice and sunny spot on the beach.]
[If he does choose to direct his attention, she'll be smuggling a small water gun to hide underneath her jacket from one of the other boxes!]
To say such a terrible thing with a smile... [Where did you go wrong, Minako-nee.]
[And he does look. Because why would he suspect that his most trusted big sister is up to some underhanded plot. :'|] Ah, that looks like a good spot. [He picks up the one sack he brought for himself, which includes a book and a change of clothes, and shades his eyes as he looks out over the beach.]
Hey. Do we have a designated lifeguard? It could be trouble if people are bringing alcohol, too.
To think such things with an innocent face... I don't think you're any better!
[Oh come on, a little water never hurt anyone. Plus, who's to say that she'll pull it out on him? It's called... It's called a form of protection! Constantly shifting her umbrella form one side to the other, it was a bit on the heavy side...]
I never really thought of that, honestly. [She ponders over it for not even a second before brushing it off.] I'm sure everyone here has enough common sense as to what to do and what not to do. I trust them.
[That, and she's pretty sure that most of the people she knew wouldn't stand by to someone drowning if they saw, either.]
[He looks up at her as she shifts her umbrella. Is she alright with that...?]
It might be fine at first, but as the day goes on and everyone gets more tired, people can misjudge their strength or sobriety and make mistakes. Also, drowning people are known to panic and take their rescuers down with them, so untrained rescuers should be extra careful.
...
Well, it's okay. If anyone drowns, we'll see them in a week.
[It's not too bad! Their spot is less than a few feet away, and once they do reach their destination there'll be no hesitation to plant it firmly into the ground.]
... Your thought process is kind of worrying sometimes. It's still early in the day, and there's little to no people right now.
[She mumbles wryly, sloppily throwing down a towel only to drop down onto it the next second.]
I'll think of what to do, all right? Since I started this, it is my responsibility that everything flows smoothly.
[Loki, what would she ever do without your common sense? :c]
[She'd drown everybody with her irresponsibility. EVERYBODY.]
[He remains standing, but he does undo his bow and stuff it neatly into his bag. He is now Casual.] Someone has to think about these things. Well, it'll be alright. [Just don't expect him to be performing any daring water rescues.]
... Let's hope there isn't anything in the water, either. Who knows what's hiding out there.
