[She's loved the amusement park forever. As long as she can recall. Even Mama had known to find her there, because where else would Ami go when she needed to feel better and clear her head?

Just like this. It can't help making her homesick, and most of the time, Ami can be found near the carousel, a favorite ride. She rides it, or listens to the tinny music over and over until she needs a break; at those points, she can be found exploring the other rides or even near the games.]

[Ch'rell is strolling around when he passes the carousel. He pauses long enough to admire the well carved horses when he notices a girl staring wistfully out at them.]

[Such a kind man! Ami actually has a faint smile as she turns around, though she shakes her head.]

No. I was just thinking about home, a little bit.

That's sort of hard to say. [She doesn't mean to be evasive, but does she count the four years at home before she came back to Luceti?]

I was here for about a year and a half, then I was sent home. Four years after that, I came back here. This time, I've been here about seven months.

Yes it is, in a way. I cannot lie that I would much prefer being home, but I am sure most people would say the same.

[Though Ch'rell is unsure whether he would rather be here or dead.]

[There are a precious few who've found new chances here they don't want to give up. Or who've found love, and consider it too precious to lose.]
