[That is an impressive stack of stuffed toys you have there, Sokka. Miyabi only tried a few of the games so far, so all she's toting around is an array of tiny, miscellaneous toys and one big one. The large one, of a familiar wolf goddess is the one she spent hours working to get. Thank the gods this place didn't take money, or she'd be poor as dirt with how much she played to get it.

When she spots Sokka she waits for him to finish his current game before speaking.]

Oh,, ah--! I-I mean, uhm...that's not what I meant! I've just never heard of an animal like that before... The animals that kind of resembles that back in Nippon were all demons or evil spirits. Like the kyuubi is an evil, nine tailed fox. Then Orochi is the eight-headed serpent of our legends.

Yeah, I know. Earth animals are weird to me, too. [But he's had nearly two years to get used to them, so...] But we don't have any nine tailed foxes or eight headed serpents.

Mm, you're lucky, Sokka. I can't wait for the day when we don't have to deal with things like that anymore, back home. Some of the demons I've seen are funny and pretty harmless, but others are real bad... [Still, she misses it so bad.] What else do you have in your world?

Well, you know, we have spirit stuff. Like... there was once this giant panda. Only he was upset because firebenders wrecked his forest. So he turned into some big scary creature that teleported around and tore up stuff with sonic screeches.

Aang took him down. With an acorn. Go figure.

Ehehe, sometimes the best solutions are the ones you never think about. But I hope that spirit was appeased in the end. It's a terrible thing to ruin an entire forest...

Yeah, he was fine. Turned back into a giant panda, made bamboo grow magically. [Sokka offers a disinterested shrug.] But that's my world for you. It doesn't make sense at all.

[Miyabi snickers, leaning onto the game table.] It must be bad for me, then, that I think it makes perfect sense. My own home is a lot like that. I can make plants grow magically with the flick of my brush, after all. And I'm really just an inch tall, too.

But I guess that's what makes our homes special - that they're all so different.

You must have something very important to do in life. Usually that's why people are so busy. I know that's why I can't do half the things I want to do regularly. This though... [She picks up a ball, and throws it, huffing when she misses her target.] ...is a good way to get away from that for a while.
