Who: Everyone! What: Everything! When: Whenever! Where: Everywhere! Summary: The draft has been announced, and the players have their parts. Time to get ready. Rating: It'll probably vary

[The mood in the village has gotten more tense, hasn't it? Unlike most of the draftees dutifully sharpening their skills, there isn't much Loki can do to prepare. If anything, this draft business only reminds him of his limitations. Ah, well. There's no use wishing for powers he doesn't have.
First, he goes to the smithy to see if there are any weapons he could possibly use. There is much picking up of blades, only for him to immediately put them back down. Were swords always that heavy?
Next, he goes to the item store for some miscellaneous supplies. Most notably, he leaves with a child-sized life jacket.
Lastly, he goes home with a book on naval warfare. It could make some good bedtime reading.]
(( OOC: Largely a placeholder until I've made a trip for some good old-fashioned apartment-scrubbing. ))
[SHE'S ON TO HIM. And cakes look a lot harder than cupcakes, so he is still skeptical.]
Alright, fine. Let's give it a try. [On the upside, if he dies in battle, he might be able to avoid this possible second death.] What kind of cake should it be?
Freestyle decoration, is it? [Actually, he's been wondering how honey and fish flakes would go on cake. Might as well take the opportunity.] That could be fun. Let's do it.
Uh-huh! It's the best part when making a cake. [She was thinking more of his favourite things in the sweets category, but if you want to add those, be her guest!]
[If cooking is a science, then the kitchen is a laboratory. If cooking is an art, then you have to be able to express yourself with the ingredients. Either way, you have to try these things!]
If Minato-nii and Keiichi want to join in, I wouldn't have a problem with that.
[That sounds good and all, but will they be able to say the same about the after effects...?]
His name's Ventus [not Rise]; he's a little dense but he's good at heart. He's in the draft with you, so I thought it would cheer him up to be able to make a cake for the first time when returning. [Another pause.] That way, the people in our houses could be our testers.
[Read: Minato can never escape being a subject of experimentation.]
So that's the way you think. [He feels sorry for Minato and Keiichi, but at least he'll be safe this time. And of course, he'll keep this in mind the next time Minako tries to feed him something.]
Ventus, hm? He sounds like a type I know. Okay, he can join us. [Loki's blessing. Ven should appreciate it.] What does he look like? I'll look out for him when we get out there.
I'm sure it'll turn out fine! I guess I just worded it a little badly there, but you still get what I mean, right? [No way!! You're not going to make something and not try it yourself, are you? At least her cooking's better than Fuuka's -- and actually good if she follows the recipe.]
[And yes, Loki's approval is super important and relevant to everything.]
He has spiky blonde hair. [a brief pause.] ... I'm not sure how else to describe his appearance, though. He does fight with a long key? [It's about the only thing unique to him that she can think of.]
[Weapons popping out of thin air isn't too foreign a concept to him, so he doesn't bat an eye. It might be interesting if this Ventus is a magic-wielder, though.]
I think magic is the best. If you mean a physical weapon, then a sword is fine.
And how about you, Minako-nee? Haven't you been training at the Battle Dome?

Besides, experimental cupcakes were only that one time.

[You aren't worming out of this any time soon, Loki.]

Want to include anyone else?

Ah, then would you mind a friend of mine joining in, instead? They're not a bad person, trust me!

He wonders why she thinks her friend might be seen as a bad person, but alright.] I don't mind, but who is it?

A long key? That's an unusual choice of weapon.

I'm actually not sure how he uses it, even. It kind of just... Pops out of thin air. [Her brows scrunch in thought.]
If you had a choice between what you could use, what would you choose?
