A certain little scientist will be out and about during this event, fairly frequently. But not ordinarily so.
You see, he's... being rather flouncy, to say the least.
Sporting a very impressive gown that took forever to draw, he looks every part the magical fairytale Disney princess. And indeed, despite the awkwardness and discomfort he has, he won't always be able to stop himself from behaving like one. Twirling prettily in the square while trying not to trip over himself? Breaking out into horribly atonal song at the most mundane of things? Delicately dusting something with a lace handkerchief? Attracting all sorts of small, adorable creatures quite without trying?
... Yeah, all of that.
In general, his mannerisms will be a little more feminine than usual... and he's going to be even more helpless than before. Expect to see him swooning exaggeratedly at things more often than not, waiting for his prince to rescue him from all manner of entirely harmless situations...]

With an almost-but-not-quite-singsong tone, Robert practically dances up to Don, and with what might have been an attempt to be graceful takes one of his hands.]
My charming Don!
[There is definitely something off about the way he said that. He knows there is. But he can't seem to help himself.]
Reply
Do I know you?
Reply
... How could you not recognize me, Don?
I am Robert, your beloved! [His voice is plaintive despite the flowery edge to it.]

I am a princess~! [He says this in a way that suggests he's not sure whether to be proud or awkward about it.]
... for... for some reason, anyway. [And here his demeanour gets through, briefly.] It... has to be an experiment. Clothes cannot suddenly change.
... Though I suppose it isn't all bad... [And there's that little lilting note to his voice again.]

Come on...
[If he can reach Robert around that enormous skirt, he'll try to steer him towards home.]
Reply
... All things considered, this isn't exactly a good idea when trying to go in a specific direction. So it's not very surprising that Robert ends up stumbling over a petticoat, letting out a little yelp in the process.]

[With ninja speed, Don insinuates himself in front of Robert, catching him under the arms. The voluminous skirt gets awkwardly squashed between their legs, but who really cares about that?]
Is it safe to assume you can't stop doing that?
Reply
... Yes.
I'm just ever so excited because everything is wonderful!
[The over-bright smile might be a little scary.]
Especially now that my darling Don is here with me~...

Robert --
[He'll wait, leaning into Robert's field of view, until the scientist looks at him a little more lucidly.]

Then he shakes it off, noticeably pushing that otherness away with a slight frown.]
... I really cannot seem to control myself.
[And that is said with a fearful edge that seems out of place with his princess-ness.]
Reply
[Don is acting normally, so far, but in giving him a once-over Robert may notice that he looks slightly lumpy and malformed, as though he were made of imperfectly molded clay.]
Reply
... Yeah, that slightly-malformed look does not go unnoticed. He traces a delicate lace-gloved finger over a ridge that looks to be covered in what might be fingerprints rather than scales.]
... You... look like a sculpture, of some sort...
... a beautiful sculpture~ - but a sculpture.

How fitting.
