25th
[Ion just spent the past two days wearing the Stone Mask. But he didn't realize the mask's power, you see. Instead, he just assumed, for whatever reason, his housemates were ignoring him. And as patient as Ion is, there's only so much he can stand before the silent treatment starts getting old. Especially with that moon hanging in the sky over the village. Was it getting bigger? It seemed that way... or was it getting closer? It was hard to tell.]

[Either way, expect him to be looking more than a little sour when he comes home that night. Certainly, the fact that he's wearing the Phanto mask isn't helping matters either. Feel free to run into him on his way to House One... but don't expect him to be very friendly.]

26th - 28th
[From around mid-afternoon, Ion will be wearing the Couples Mask. And with the moon starting to look rather menacing, maybe that extra cuddly side will be more appreciated... he'll be making his way around the village, occassionally shooting worrying glances up at the sky.]

29th - 30th

[Nephry has, at last, removed her Zorro mask. She's sitting with it in her hands now, studying it. Still...dressed like a heroic Dread Pirate Roberts. She looks up when Ion comes in.]

[Ion looks over at Nephry, the mask hiding the glare that is likely implied by the sharpness in his tone.]

So, you're finally talking to me, then?

It's easy to pretend someone isn't there if you ignore them long enough. [He huffs, his hands tightening into fists at his side.] Did you think it was funny? You and the others... not even so much as a "Good morning, Ion" for days!

[Don't you know better than to think anyone in this house could ignore you?]

[He does know better, but the mask isn't going to let him believe that for a second. He'd been so lonely all day... not even anyone in the library wanted to talk to him!]

[Of course, it does cross his mind for a moment that perhaps maybe, just maybe, something else was at work here... but his dark side suppresses that thought just as quickly as it comes.]

Worried? [He laughs. It's a strange, twisted sort of laugh.] What's there to be worried about? It's not as though half the village has lost their minds or there's some kind giant space rock coming to destroy the village...

I'm sorry you felt ignored. But I am telling the truth - I haven't seen you in days.

[He grins his teeth and turns away. It's hard to keep arguing against what deep down you know is the truth. His voice remains icy cold.]

Fine. Perhaps you're right. Perhaps, somehow, we're both right. But that doesn't excuse everyone else, and it certainly doesn't explain anything.
