Not really. People are going to try, just like they're going to try to stop it. But with that mass, the whole enclosure will be destroyed unless the barrier can stop it somehow. [And she doubts it's that strong.] We can't go to the ocean because the water would kill us, and we can't outrun it because the impact is probably going to affect the whole planet we're on.
