[Having heard the message, Medli is there. She's happy for the opportunity to do some honest work and get her mind off her situation and her worries, so she flies with practiced unease between the trees and picks mikans with gusto.

Yes, flies! It may seem strange that someone who is so clearly new is already doing much more than hovering, if one doesn't notice that whenever she takes off, she seems to sprout a second pair of nearly identical wings. Weird.

On both afternoons, she continues working well into the evening, long past when most others have left.]

It's alright, I won't let you fall. [He doesn't know if she truly needed his help, but he can't leave it to chance, either. If she lets him, he'll guide her back to the ground.]
