[Well Thor isn't the collecting mikans type, so he'll be clearing up the snow. This will largely involve being up in the air and swirling his hammer in the air. Somehow this makes the clouds go away and lets the sunlight sneak through. Don't ask how it works. He's a god. It's just a god thing. Let it go.

When the clouds are cleared up (for awhile), he may go on the ground, sample a mikan, or hammer away some mounds of snow. Maybe do some heavy lifting if you bat your eyes at him real nicely. But really. He's kind of above picking fruits off the tree. He'd rather walk around looking as though he's protecting people from some mysterious and hidden danger.]

I call upon the storms when I need them, but usually Mjolnir is more than sufficient for the task.

[Really, in general, just being an Asgardian is sufficient for the task.]

You must come from a pretty impressive place.

Indeed. Asgard, the Realm Eternal. There is nowhere so grand in all the nine realms.

...only nine? [She's pretty sure there are more than that. ...of course she's thinking of something else entirely, but hey.]

There are more, but the nine realms are connected by the 'world tree', Yggdrasil.

mikangirl November 21 2011, 17:26:21 UTC
...huh. [This has her interest, actually.] So...do you use the world tree to travel between them, or...? [Of course, what is a 'world tree'? What she's picturing can't be right...]

We use the Bifrost to travel through the connections between worlds. The mortals call them 'wormholes'. [Though he fails to see how worms are more pertinent than a tree branching through the galaxy as analogies go.]

[...what the heck is a bifrost.]

[And the hell is a wormhole. When you think in terms of giant trees and wormholes and somehow they connect different worlds together, or there are things called bifrosts involved, and she's pretty damn sure these are all symbolic as opposed to literal (though she still has-- what the heck is a bifrost) so she can kind of wrap her mind around the different branches thing, but wormholes has her completely confused, because she can't find any kind of analogy that fits a grubby wriggly thing digging in the dirt, what kind of worlds are connected by bugs anyway--

Gotcha. Sounds kinda complicated.

[But she is CLEARLY ON TOP OF THIS.]

[Don'tchoo worry about it Nami. That's how things go!]

Indeed. Though it has been explained to me, I could never recreate it myself. Now that I am trapped here, I wish I had.

You think this world's connected to your realms? [She's trying Thor, okay. >> And also, this is relevant to her interests. When she can understand. 8|]

I do not know. Trapped in this barrier, there is little than I can tell. Perhaps if I had studied the stars more, I might be able to tell.

The stars are the same between worlds? [She feels like she's asking a really stupid question here. Hi, I am a country hick.]

Nay, but young Asgardians are taught that some constellations are shared between the nine realms. I must admit, I never listened very well at that lesson. [Loki on the other hand...]
