Mithos stares down at his journal, more than a little suspicious, but in the end just disregards it as inconsequential.]

[...But as he sits there, propped up in bed, he begins to wonder: what is he doing, spending his days inside, moping around, in total isolation until Sayo returns? He hates feeling useless. Like he's accomplishing nothing. Then it strikes him. Today is the perfect day to go find Kaori and resolve everything that's been left unresolved. He had avoided her since Frey's return, not wanting to confront the ugly tangle of thoughts and feelings inside him, but now he wants nothing more than to sort through this.
So he's up and at 'em, walking out the door of CH2 with the aid of his crutches, intent on his destination: House 15. (Why waste time with the journal? That's more sitting around, and he needs to be doing.) ( ... )

It wasn't fear, he knew that. He knew it probably should be fear, too, but it just... it just wasn't. He still doesn't know the name of the other, but... he suddenly realizes how attractive the other boy is. Maybe even more than the other men Jeb's so recently found himself admiring. Mithos' hair is really nice looking, and... those eyes. Those eyes that haunt Jeb's dreams, but draw him in at the same time ( ... )

He should have just contacted her over the journal. Too late now - he left it at the apartment. Again. This is just stupid. ...And he can't figure out how to get back.
Mithos halts in his tracks when he sees the other boy up ahead, and his eyes glint lividly. He doesn't want to deal with him, especially not now. He doesn't want to deal with anyone. So he shoots a blood-curdling, bone-piercing glare before quickly changing direction entirely.]

[Cheeks flushed, fear rising in him just a little--but that's not why he won't directly look at Mithos, even if it's reminding him of the nightmares that have plagued him for the past two months, or the event that caused him to have said nightmares.
It's Mithos' eyes.] I'm sorry. I just--I just saw you and I... I'm sorry!

[...his eyes are wide, slowly bringing his hands up to cover his mouth. He's blushing heavily out of embarrassment and slight fear. He... he hadn't expected to say that. He did want the nightmares to cease, part of him still wanted to help Mithos, but...
What is wrong with him, lately?]

It... it's wrong to want to be close to someone? [Except he knows that this boy is dangerous... but he's also on crutches at the moment. Jeb's questioning it himself--what is wrong with him? Why?! Why does he keep approaching this boy, even after getting thrashed around like he did? Even after Raine and Yuan have told him not to? Why can't he stop? The horoscope is effecting his judgment further, to top it all off.]
