[There's nothing out of the ordinary about Arumat's outfit today-- he's just wearing his standard uniform despite the temperature because he's weird and stubborn like that. But said uniform just happens to expose a considerable amount of skin, which Frey might happen to notice...]

[He does notice, actually, and might be staring a bit. It's totally just because you're dressed terribly for the cold though. No other reason, nope.]

Hello, Arumat.... [Slightly distracted by abs, yes.]

[Day 1] /RUNS IN SLOW MOTION

[And Arumat turns at the sound of that familiar voice, only to see... dear Eldar what is the boy wearing. He's not all that well-versed in human fashion but that looks pretty damn hideous to his eyes.]

... your outfit, is there a reason for it?

.....it's cold. You wear sweaters when it is cold. [Like... you aren't. He finally averts his eyes after realizing he might be staring a bit pointedly.]

It's the most hideous thing I've seen in a long time.

[That's about when he notices the staring, if only because it's so very unusual for Frey.]

[He flushes a bit at Arumat's second comment, though.]

You.... aren't dressed for the weather. Aren't you cold? [Except from his tone it is fairly obvious he's not telling the whole truth.]

[Arumat scowls briefly, then raises an eyebrow.]

A soldier can't distracted by something as minor as a temperature change. Letting your mind wander spells death on the battlefield.

I understand, Sir..... [But it isn't the battlefield. You could catch a cold and that could make trouble later if you do need fight....]

[And up that eyebrow goes a little more as he steps closer to Frey. His student is acting decidedly odd today...]

[He makes an annoyed sound somewhere between a "tch" and a sigh before he tugs a glove off and presses his hand to Frey's forehead, but only because he doesn't want his student collapsing on him from a fever or something.]

[He jumps back like he's been scalded, and while his face is definitely warm, it's not with illness. Why is he so....] I'm fine!

[... okay, that's DEFINITELY odd. But Arumat will withdraw his hand rather than trying anything further.]

My apologies.... You surprised me. [Oddly enough the mention of biting him just makes him flush more as he gets a rather interesting mental image.
