SECOND: WEATHER
SPEAKING OF BEING LATE lol. Weather calendar. Yes. I forgot. And then had schoolwork. A thousand apologies orz
There's been some puzzling over whether or not it's actually snowed in Luceti. I did give a few people permission to assume there's been some, so I apologize if you feel your character missed out on their first snow! If it's a big thing for you (and I myself feel like it's something to be acknowledged for one of mine) then feel free to ignore any previous snow that might have been mentioned and use the upcoming weather as your character's cherry-popping snow experience.
And speaking of snow, to make up for the last few weeks, Luceti is getting a nice heaping of it this weekend! Overnight and throughout the day, it'll be snowing lightly, but steadily. Then, on the 20th and 21st, a nice big heaping of it will be dumped on the village- several inches by the end. It won't be a blizzard of epic proportions or anything, but it should be plenty to keep your characters occupied and chilly.
THIRD: MOD ANNOUNCEMENT
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but our beloved Kukki has decided it's time to step down from her modly position! So we get to dump her responsibilities on Kyo. |D
I mean uh.
Anyway, I want a HUGE thank you from all of you for Kukki and all of her hard work since she joined our team. Thankfully she's staying in the game, otherwise we would have to flog her.
I MEAN UH
THANK YOU KUKKI
There's been no talk of actually replacing her, but if anyone is interested, give it some thought, and we'll announce it if we decide to take applications and whatnot. Right now it's not a huge priority.
FOURTH: IT'S EVENT TIME!
Back by popular demand, it's time for another TOTAL RECALL! For those unfamiliar with it, this is when previous and beloved events from past months are brought back in a big free-for-all.
Here's a list of your options:
Time Skip: Age your character up, age 'em down, whatever you like.
Gender swap: Boys become girls, girls become boys. The usual.
Personality Change: Wish your character was more flirty? Girly? Manly? Boisterous? Emo? Feel free to mess with them as much as you like!
Body swap: Switch with another character's body! Self-explanatory.
Teleporting: Characters are randomly teleported to another location for no apparent reason! Enjoy the cold, kiddies.
Mini: Characters are shrunk! Chibified! Tini'd! Where's an Esuna spell when you need one!? (Protip: they won't work anyway ohoho)
Job Switch: Characters suddenly feel inclined to take on a job they are totally unsuited for. Go forth and become a vampire slayer, Mr. Cullen!
Thought Bubbles: Characters thoughts are visible above their heads. Men better stay away from women who carry the mallet of pervert-slaying doom.
AU: Okay this one is too tl;dr to keep short, so have a link to more blah blah blah.
Superpowers: Characters find themselves suddenly possessing superpowers. You can get good and creative with this one, so have fun. Up up and away!
Musical: ....I don't think we've ever done this, but it's too lulzy for a full event, so here's a good spot for it. Characters suddenly find themselves bursting into song for no apparent reason. Sing about the weather! Their life's woes! Their lack of a sex life! ONCE MORE WITH FEELING!
Animals / Mythical beasts: Your character changes into an animal or some sort of mythological creature, either one we all know and love or one from their canon, it's up to you. Animals and mythological creatures can speak in Luceti, but you'll only be able to do voice posts during this time unless they've got opposable thumbs or something D|

This is just a little announcement to say:
THERE WILL BE A DRAFT IN DECEMBER! Specifically, it's probably going to be December 12th-14th. Just a little one this time around, but we have big plans for it. Hopefully this is doable.
SIXTH: POLL
So it's around the time of year that everyone loves- Christmas FOURTH WALL! For the past few years we've had it in December, but we've gotten some requests to move it to a less holiday-filled time of the year, due to people being crazy-busy. So I'd like to propose a little poll for you guys. Pick whatever option floats your boat and we'll work on it a bit.

If we wait until January, we'd probably run it sometime after all the apps are processed and people have settled. So- share your thoughts! Discuss! You know the drill.
SEVENTH: ONE MORE THING...
Some of you may be like me, in that you're completely unable to pay attention to more than one RP at a time. It sucks, yeah, but Luceti is crack it happens. Often I find myself going "gee, I'd like to app so-and-so" but find my roster already full. We don't have many people who fill up their character slots, but those who do (and are able to keep all of them active) might have faced a similar problem.
Thus, I'd like to raise the character slot to 8. I know there's already an exception in the seven-character rule for active players, but using that for myself feels like mod favouritism, and I'd really rather avoid getting grudgewank for this. Better to make it open to everyone, eh?
So does anyone have any major issues with this, or is it a reasonable request?

- The event will run for TWO WEEKS, starting Sunday the 21st at 12:01 AM (midnight) and running until December 4th at 11:59 PM (midnight again).
- Why so long? Because this event is allowing for complete and total freedom. You can choose more than one event. You can choose when it begins, when it ends, when the next one begins, etc. For two weeks you get to do whatever you want.
- You can allow the effects to stack! Maybe you'd like your character to become a genderbent child version of themselves. And then bodyswap them with someone to completely horrify the other character. And then point and laugh at the chaos.
- There's one limitation that we'd like to put in place here: use common sense. If you stack on too many effects and your character is completely unrecognizable in every way? You're probably taking it too far, because you're not exactly playing them anymore, are you? :|;;
