Oh, the beasties. Will there be details on the monsters later into the event, or anything specific we should know about them?

And is there any given reason for why Bil will go by both "Bil" and "Catherine"? Like, he's just so eccentric he needs two names? /coughs

For the actual event post (when we announce the poll results) we'll be sure to give more details.

He should be simply known as Catherine among the populace. It was a name given to him a long time ago by a lovely young lad.

Will the beasties be a particular type of beasties, or just generic beasts hoping for a tasty lunch?

We'll have more details on them later!

So, well, if you have a character who is a highly distrustful-of-authority-figures type, with a notable lack of reverence for revered figures.... is it fair to say that even in this AU, they would be skeptical of anyone called The Great One? Not that festivals aren't awesome and all, but I'm pretty sure even in a god-worshiping canon all Ginko reveres is trees.

Oh! Yes, sorry, I meant to clarify that and forgot. The last post did mention that not everyone looks on the Malnosso with reverence -- and the same goes for both Bil and our vaulted Great One. Characters are absolutely allowed to be skeptical, but there will also be a general sense of belief in and respect/reverence for this figure. That was what I meant to imply -- a general (if pervasive) sense, not an absolute standard. Sorry!

Hey. Hey guys.

Are the filial spirits still around during this? I don't remember. >>

Please don't shoot!

Yyyyyyyyyyyyes. But I cannot brain clarification details right now. Short answer yes, long answer Masa it's your turn. Unless a "yes" was all you needed. 8D;

They're pretty much the same. The only difference is that some people with powers attribute this to a natural affinity to the spirits. For instance, someone with super strength might also attribute that power to Faeren (Earth), while regeneration might be something from Nala (Healing).

If a character normally doesn't dream for whatever reason, would they see what they would have seen in dreams in some other way? Like maybe hallucinations for instance?

Sure, if you'd like.

So I think these got missed last time, and since they still seem mostly applicable, I'll ask again ( ... )

1) I'm not really sure why this is a question, unless those beliefs/values/ethics would conflict with the AU somehow? I think I need an example ( ... )

1) I meant more in the sense of them being difficult or impossible to justify. Robert, for example, is a staunch pacifist (to a ridiculous extreme) and he espouses sapient rights. The AU conditions pretty much rule both of those out because of how it functions (wars are frequent and he'd have been brought up around them, and nobody is supposed to recognize the species differences ( ... )
