Now that Marisa has arrived in Luceti, it's only a matter of time before the settlement's two touhous duke it out in the only way the know how.
Danmaku Battle
Danmaku is a term that literally means "bullet curtain". The method in which duels are decided in Gensokyo is by literally spamming bullets into the infinity and flooding your opponent. It looks a little like this except they'll both be flying the entire time. It also will, at times, look like this:
What's this mean for you? Well, there's a reason why danmaku isn't a spectator's sport and that's because it's extremely destructive by nature. It takes a lot for danmaku bullets to kill anyone, as they're not fatal by any means, but enough concussive blows can knock you out (as seen in the video). Plus the stray bullets will be flying into buildings and the like.
So what I'm here to ask, Luceti, is for volunteers. WHO WANTS TO RUN SCREAMING FROM THE HAIL OF MAGIC MISSILES?
Volunteers (name and how they are effected):
scaryoniichama will be getting konked out by a stray bullet right to the head
vulcanblazer will be hurt trying to keep other people out of the line of fire.
raisedbyacat will be running around like a scared chicken.
vivi_aislinn will be KO'd by PATCHY oh god we are horrible people
rupurudu will be getting in the NO FLY ZONE
autocrossbowplz will be getting gonged defending a precious ladyfriend. WHO WANTS TO BE THE LUCKY GAL?
a_childish_lord is getting beaned upside the mug
sing_thrush is also getting a fast one to the head.
mutsukabezaka is facing pain rain from the heavens (and on his art)
colony_brat is getting a beatdown of epic proportions
needslovelyitem is facing the worst babysitting job ever.
secondshitennou is getting a big one in the temple.
hiding_in_white, and I quote, "can throw up a barrier, get the barrier shattered, dive out of the way but get a graze that will feel like a horse kicked him in the side and throw himself into the nearest house"
emerald_archive will be feebly hiding behind his hammer.
Note: This is large scale enough to effect the entire settlement, believe me. Danamku arrays can span huge amounts of space. They lose strength with distance, of course, but there were never really strong enough to do much more than knock you on your rear anyways. Feel free to get creative!
