I am loving this so very much! I have a terrible fascination with a sympathetic devil (and have been enjoying visualizing this with a certain actor) and Castiel in crisis. It's all such a slow, simple seduction which is harder to fight than outright opposition, so y'know, you've got me till the end.

I did try for Lee Pace, I really did, because that was such a good idea from whomever had suggested it, but alas, I couldn't make him hold through (he's too innocent looking and I need my flash of EVIL).

It was actually the guy they ended up casting for Lucifer. Not who I would've chosen, but I held his face and mannerisms for this whole fic, so I'm willing to buy him in the series (and *like* it).

I'm glad you think so! I'm really hoping the show gives us a Lucifer that does more than destroy things for no obvious reason other than "He's evil."

At this point, Cas isn't going to be able to help himself when it comes to conquering stuff. I'd say "Poor Dean", but...uh. Yeah. Don't think he'll mind all that much.

And I've always liked the Lucifer that just suggests corruption with all the right words instead of a blatantly bad Lucifer. Gray is sooo much more fun than black and white.
