Birthday fic 2.1, woo! SHORT, but oh well. You get more after I come home from Wichita.

Summary: This is what leads a guy all the way to the O.Z. from Omaha, and makes him stay.

*paws at* Oh, OH the prettiness of this! And the likelyhood of it and just...gah, YES. For as much as I destroy enhance their marriage with Other Parties I do believe there is something fundamentally Right And Good about them together.

I honestly can't remember a single Queen/Ahamo fic I've ever read, SO I WROTE ONE. And I like that Other Parties enhancement. A lot. Well, I'd like it more if Ahamo lost the ginormous sideburns of doom, but he's probably at the height of style in the Realm of the Unwanted so who am I to judge? ♥

I like this look at how differently they remember/tell the past and how probably vastly different both versions are from whatever was spun for the public.

Awww, yay! And I think Ahamo did some serious editing, because just landing right in front of the most powerful woman in her world and not getting attacked by guards seems highly unlikely to me.
