With the extent of damage Japan's facing, it just felt wrong to not try and do something. I mean, they're dealing with the fourth largest earthquake ever recorded PLUS twenty-foot tsunami that swept entire towns out to sea, AND the biggest nuclear disaster since Chernobyl? I mean, Japan's pretty well-equipped for this stuff in comparison to just about any country in the world (what with having experience with all three things) and they're a very capable nation, but they need help and I owe a lot to Japanese media. Thus, auction!

And I pressure myself way more than you ever could, I am thinking. At this point I am just rewriting and rewriting and rewriting, and terrified you'll hate the ending. :(
