Kaede has her new beau near completion. I repaired Rowan's eye on Saturday, then painted him yesterday. I had a little accident while applying his eyelashes though, one on my toothpicks slipped chipping the make-up on his cheek. I didn't feel like redoing it all, so now he has an unplanned mole. All I have to do now is shorten his neck a little.

Kaede makes everyone look young, poor ol' girl ^_^

sanding down the neck is one of the easiest mods to do, you just have to be patient ^_^ I never cut down the neck to get started, I sand the whole time. Makes for less mistakes.

Hmm so you take sandpaper for it? Or dremel?

Im afraid Im impatient person XD, but resin seems to be easy for sanding inst it? I just tried it out a lil bit when cleanig off face up...

Sandpaper, I almost never use a dremel, maybe I just need to practice with it more, but I find I don't have as much control with it. I use 60 grit to take off the length, sanding in circles to keep the shape, 100 grit to get the shape just right, then 400-800-1200 to smooth it down. Resin sands easily, though it can take some time manually. I'm quite happy to spend a whole afternoon or more on modwork, painting is another story though.
