Aspasia was aware that somewhere else in the city, the kindred inclined to participate in society were politicking and gossiping. She was in no mood to deal with that crowd tonight. Instead she followed directions hastily written on a scrap of paper. The Nomad’s were dodging the bullet as well, and Jack would put in an appearance sooner or later

Sidney and Charlotte had the most amusing conversation with him shortly after I moved up to Seattle.
