Holy pants this show just keeps getting better. I almost can't deal with how good it is.
I really like the new killer. Sad he just lasted one episode. But it was one awesome episode that brought us many great things, including the entirely creepy playing of the cello man. I really adore Will's deteriorating mental health.
Poor Franklin. He was funny while he lasted. I love that he diagnosed Tobias using the psychopath test. And the bit about his being attracted to psychopaths. Poor Franklin.
Now let's pause to appreciate how awesome Gillian Anderson this week. Witness her perfect executed Reddit
AMA. Anyway, I love protective Hannibal. During this session this week I started suspecting that he was the one who attacked her and that she was actually dead, but then Hannibal isn't Will's sort of crazy.
I enjoyed all the talk of murder as performance again. And the idea that Tobias was serenading Hannibal. And the lonely killer talk. The just wanting a friend. And the "I wouldn't do that to the food." Oh Hannibal.
And now Will. Again. I loved the whole post-Bloom kiss conversation with dessert. And that Hannibal decided to help Will because he thinks he might want to be his friend because Will might be clever enough to climb his walls.
And now back to Hannibal. I really love mussed Hannibal. And that he killed Tobias with Will's elk. That was possibly my favorite choice of the whole episode. Also, it was the first time we've actually seen Hannibal kill onscreen. And the concern when Will showed up, his apology, their little heart to heart. Such an odd delicious pair.
