Help me

Mostly aimed at redhillian.

If our Land Rover has a full battery and all the fuses check out okay, what's the next most likely reason for none of the electrics working?

It's For Science!

Sitting next to me:

He says there's too many variables to give a quick answer, but it could be the AI being broken so should be an AA or hire company job. Is the battery actually connected...? Cut-off switch somewhere?

Problem is a) we're on the Isle of Arran so the AA would not be quick; and b) the electrics are all interconnected with the power supply for the Science™ in the back.

OTOH, the engine has just turned over when we disconnected the external power, so not as bad as it appeared. Ta.

Looks like the normal electrics are (quite sensibly) isolated from the external mains supply when it's plugged in. Unfortunately, the lights in the back run from the normal supply, which is what caused us to notice the problem.

Aside from having no lights, we're fine, in fact. Phew.

Thanks!

You've got an artificial intelligence in your landrover?
