R.I.P Ruth Kitty

Little Ruth Kitty left us yesterday, she was 22 years old. She had been in declining health over the past several weeks from kidney failure but had been bravely fighting on. She will be greatly missed by me, and jdulacShe was our dowager, our grande dame, a lady of culture and refinement, to whom we gave a voice something like Bertie Wooster’s Aunt

My sincerest condolences. Renal issues are difficult. Our old lady is 17, and despite her diabetes, I hope that she has at least that many more years to go.

I expect she will. Ruth was 17 when she came to us and soldiered on for all these years, only become really infirm in the past several months.
