Totally agree with you about Goodfellas vs. Titanic. I think Adrien Brody won for The Pianist the year Daniel Day Lewis was up and I still think that was the right choice. It was a remarkable performance and a huge stretch for a kid from New York City.

Clooney won his Oscar for something non-acting but what was it? I can't remember now.
