Those poor kids are usually the ones who go hog-freakin'-wild once they're finally away from home for the first time. They've been kept on such a short leash that they want to try everything when they get to university. I hope he'll land on his feet, without melting down. We had a neighbour whose children were so called perfect. Mother encouraged them to practice bagpipes at 7;30 AM on a Sunday morning. All I wished for them was a bit of juvenile delinquency when the hit puberty LOL

She probably will find that he is just a very good liar and manipulator and that he is doing behind her back what other kids are doing in the open. Either that or the boy will go absolutely crazy when he gets his freedom. He almost certainly hates her though.

I hope so, because the thought of some uber-anal mummy's boy makes me want to barf....
