My fingers twitch, begging to rub the tender cut that stretches across my wrists. Angry pink flesh stares back and me and reminds me how much I hate blood rituals. How much I hate knowing that this could really be the end for all of us.
A whisper tickles my skin and I turn, Dean’s looking at my wrists with pain filled eyes. He hates this. I turn my wrists over, laying my palms flat on my legs. As his eyes slide over my body I offer a slight shrug before whispering. “In a day you won’t even see it.”
