i've read that children grieve naturally - the way we are all supposed to. they compartmentalize. they feel everything. they move on. they can be 100% sad and heartbroken and 10 minutes later play with friends and be full of joy. it's schizophrenic, but it's supposedly the healthiest way to walk through grief ( Read more... )

puppy is pretty close to house broken! the tough part is he is so quiet - hates to bark, whimper make noise unless he is really upset (i.e. when i come home and he's peed in his crate). he will ring the bell but not loudly. bless his heart, he's just a sweet, little, quiet thing. in the last few days the only accidents have been literally right ( Read more... )

so much puppy energy. so lucky that i have time off so i can play with him and then crate him for naps. i can't imagine having to leave this bundle of energy for the day in a crate - he would go nuts. we play and walk and nap and i run errands and come back and do it all over again ( Read more... )

crate training is awesome - he loves it. hasn't had accidents since the first day and only wakes up once during the night (usually around 2:30 and then not until 6:30 when we wake up anyway). He doesn't cry in the night, we just hear him walking around in his crate and let him out. When we put him back in, he doesn't cry and goes right back to ( Read more... )
