So what's the deal with this Bennett guy who wants to be Senator? I see his silly ass ALL OVER the rotaries around here. He seems like hot shit. He wants to be my "myspace friend". I checked him out--seems like an awesome dude. The only thing I couldn't find, however, was information on his political standings

He is a republican, but his party didn't/hasn't/probably won't endorse his run. He's doing it as a renegade. He's also got some minor problems in his past performance as a selectperson on ACK. Take small problems on an island and magnify them for a state position = most likely not good

Yeah, I saw something about how Kerry wouldn't hire him due to his political affiliations. But it didn't go into any more detail, other than the fact he protested at a school function a few years back.
