tomorrow is my last day to practice before my driving test on friday at 10am.  I'm nervous, not because i doubt my ability to get from place to place, but there are so many random factors.  I hate that there is chance involved, though i know real life involves chance, but i still feel... *shakes fists*  i'm so nervous and stressed that i got

I think I'm a pretty good driver, and I failed my first time. On the route there was a road closed the that dude didn't know about either. So here I was all lolwhut and he failed me.

I guess I'm trying to say that even if you don't pass the test, it doesn't mean you aren't a good driver or that you can't pass it the next go around. I've been in the car with you when you drive, and you are a far better driver than many people on the roads. Even if you don't make it the first time, I have faith you'll get it the next go around.

my advice would be to drive around the DMV you're going to a lot. At least for my test, the didn't stray too far. Just driving through all the intersections will help out a lot giving you some warning if there is anything weird coming up. The other bit of advice would be don't freak out. It may be shard advice to follow, but waiting a week and taking it again really isn't a big deal.

It was sprinkling the day I took my test, and I made a joke about getting extra points for taking the test in "inclement weather." If you make a joke like that, I hope your instructor actually has a sense of humor.

I think you'll do fine. Driving foggy sucks, but if you've had a bit of practice, at least you'll know what to expect from yourself. Also, don't be afraid to drive too slow.

thanks, now i just need to a)come up with reasons to drive and b) get over my continued anxiety of driving after c) recovering from my cold so that i can be functional.

stupid realities of situations. i knew it wasn't going to happen, but it would've been nice if i instantly felt 100% confident driving. so ya, it'll be a week to a month, but at some point i could take us somewhere.
