Attention weather gods,

I am fucking melting. 90 degrees in September? FAIL! Currently in my room with the fan turned up drinking Lavender Earl Gray and sweating insanely. PLEASE let the weather catch up with the calender soon, because I have endured an entire humid New York disgusting summer and I deserve cool weather. Kthkxbye.

Is it hot over there, or is it just you? ;) <3

It's also unseasonably warm here in Portland. Compared to what you're suffering with, I can't complain. OTOH, having just spent 10 days in a sub-arctic climate I am having a bit of an icky day here too. *mew*

aww, sorry to hear the heat's geting you. Yesterday was excessive I thought, but my neighbourhood had the most amazing breezes all day today. In fact it was perfect! erm, yeah, rub it in, right? *but it was nice*

Hot in SF, at least it is a dry heat, and under desert rules (which is how we run Indian Summer here), it cools off quickly to a very pleasant temperature.

Except that I am standing around in the blazing sun all day, with noone to blame but me.

I'm in the one on the left...

after i finally escaped south florida, i was talking to my mom, right after the new year, maybe in february, and it was ALREADY in the 90's down there. i was so so relieved to not be there any more, that i was just exclaiming joy that we're already only in the mid - low 80's here for the most part. south florida? still oppressive. september is one of the worst months there, actually. it's only as cool as the 60's from like, mid december to the end of january or so. WACKY. (plus hurricanes which are fun so long as they're not on top of you)

not that you needed to know any of that. unless you were thinking of moving to the tropics, somewhere where there is also a lot of development and therefore concrete which just equals way more heat. if that's the case, this was highly informative.
