I don't know. It's something I've been wondering a lot, actually. I have never felt married to my IR degree, I mean, it is very interesting and substantial, but I never studied politics in school; I haven't spent my whole life wanting to do IR. It sort of makes sense, but ... you know I love art and creative expression and fashion is most definitely an outgrowth of that.
I don't really see a clear path in either direction, though. I know from working at Michael Kors that the corporate aspects of working in fashion seem pretty soulsucking; retail would be horrible; and I don't want to spend most of my life as a starving designer or something like that. I don't know. :(
I frequently worry that I am resigning myself to a degree which I should not undertake and which will not serve me.
