just stabbing yourself once doesn't show undying devotion...maybe if you do it everyday to show her you still care. also, what the fuck would you want with a girl like that anyway? give me a break.

sincerely,

I don't want a girl like that. A girl that needs all those things. I was just using it to exemplify their nature of desire and greed. The epitome. I would be very happy to spend just a few weeks with a girl who was just smart, thoughtful, psychodrama-free, and remotely attractive. It just doesn't seem like their are many. There is a shell superficiality covering most, or they hide behind their religion, or they are emotionally crippled, or asexual, or thoughtless. These girls abound and are plentiful, the ones with those very simple attributes, my favotires, are few and far between, apparently. And all the ones i do meet have boyfriends, which totally blows.

perhaps it's easier to be shallow or perhaps it's not a concsious choice. either way the number of worthwhile people in the world is saddeningly small and all those cool girls must be dating all the cool guys because the selection is equally slim on the guy-finding front. Thus, one is presented with the choice between lowering one's standards or abstaining, that is the classic battle quantity vs. quality.

I walk the line in a drunken fashion, apparently. Perhaps I should just give it everything I have. Throw out all my bait and just go diving with a knife in my mouth.
