First, well done on your school stuff! Clever, clever LM. XD
On the other... well, you know I feel bad for you about things not working out with her... still, if she was only in it for you and not for herself as well, you're both better off with it over, you know? You deserve someone who really is into you, and I'm sure that she thinks so, too. *hugs*
As for finding someone... is there anywhere outside of school you could go to meet people? An anime club in your area, or maybe your local comic store people might know if there's an RPG group going somewhere near you that's looking for new players, or anything like that?
...you don't have a local comicstore? Even I, living in a place where my whole state is considered "regional Australia" and where there's hardly anything, have a local comicstore!
It's more than just that... I have met one or two, but... well, one was a transgirl, and was totally uninterested in me the second she figured out I was under 18 (understandably). The other one really just had her own group of things to do, and I didn't fit in.
I dunno, finding someone I get along with, let alone the same interests, is incredibly hard for. And when I do, it seems like they have no interest in me...
Ah... but that's kind of what I meant - Garaku seemed to think all you had to do was pick someone and ask, and I was pointing out to him that you don't have as many options as he thinks.
And, well, give it time. I've had trouble even finding friends my whole life, it took me till I was way through my 20s to even get a group of friends rather than just having to rely on one at a time... Maybe you could try talking to some of the straight girls, just try and build friendships? If it works, you'd be less lonely, at least. *hugs*
