7. Evanee Ladron ('rider version)
What do you do with them?
Write and role-play. Some of them I have not role-played in awhile (think four years). Others are more current. Note that I had to stretch to find seven that I felt like answering questions about, and that two of them are essentially the same person in different situations.
Do you feel close to them?
I mean... I created them, so I suppose so. I feel closer to some than others.
Do you believe they're real?
No, but as LG said -- it's fun to pretend.
Are any of them dating each other?
Nope. They could be dating other people, though... yeah.
Have any of them ever been killed?
Technically, yes. Some in the future, because I've written their deaths but I'm not ready for them to die.
Have you drawn them?
Uh. I tried to draw Aria once. I'm not a very talented drawer. I did, however, take a picture of Jaina Solo and modify it (hair color, eye color, etc.) to match Eva Nightstalker.

About number one: Eva Nightstalker
Eva is probably my favorite character, hence the reason she's listed twice. She started out as a character for an RPG that was never created, then I wrote about her, then she was assimilated into a friend's story. I'm answering these questions regarding this Eva. Personality-wise, Eva is quite mercurial. She's got quite the temper, though she's incredibly loyal to her cause -- and she tends to be somewhat intolerant of those who aren't. She was drafted at the age of 13, was dishonorably discharged at 16, then was allowed to re-enlist a month or so later under the close watch of her commanding officer (because of her skills as a pilot).
What do they do for a living?
She's a fighter pilot.
What do they dress like?
Generally, she wears her flight suit or her uniform. Otherwise -- probably the futuristic equivalent of clean jeans and a t-shirt. Her clothes are generally neat, and she tends to dress comfortably in clothing that she can still fight in.
Who is their best friend?
Probably Gabe (aka "Phantom"), her wingman.
How would they respond to abuse?
There's a good chance the abuser would get a black eye or a broken nose.
Do they have any nicknames?
Technically, "Eva" is a nickname (short for "Evanee"). She's also known as "Four" (since her designation is Daemon 4), "Kid" (depends on who's talking to her), or "Minx" (the callsign Gabe gave her... which she hates).
Are they seeing anyone? Married?
Definitely not married... possibly seeing another Maze, another pilot. It's a kinda-sorta-maybe type of romantic relationship. She's a bit wary of other people, since she was pretty much turned into a brainwashed drone as a kid.
What species are they?
Human.
Do they eat meat?
Yes.
What kind of accent do they have?
No particular accent, since she grew up in the city and has been in the military (and thus sort of an international community) all her life. She is a little lazy with words, though, so she tends to slightly slur or leave off the ends of a few words. As far as a dialect goes, she has a tendency to speak in acronyms and the phonetic alphabet, and her vocabulary is littered with curse words.

About number two: Aria Shadowblade
Aria was created for Telenia, an RPG that LG, Megg, Erika and I either owned or co-owned at various points in time. She's kind of a sociopath.
What's their middle name?
She doesn't have one.
How old are they?
She aged as I played her, though she started at 15.
What's their favorite hobby?
Stealing apples from a local merchant.
What's their sexuality?
She likes the boys.
Any special powers?
Um... yeah? She can manipulate people's minds, telepathically talk to others, read others' minds, create fire, blow shit up, and do a bunch of other stuff. She was, to put it succinctly, the most powerful magic-user in over a hundred years.
What religion are they?
The "normal" Telenian religion, though she had an affinity for the Windlady -- the goddess who gave her training in her powers.
Do they get ridiculed?
Uh, no. She'd blow any bully up. Anyway, she's generally the one ridiculing others.
What species are they?
Human.
Who are their friends?
Kitchi (I think he was her sort-of boyfriend), Toren (the young man she thought was her twin for the first 16 years of her life), Riven (her actual twin) and maybe a few others.
Have they ever wanted to kill someone?
She has killed someone: Kitchi's sister. And probably a few others. But, yeah, she's wanted to kill people before.

About number three: Ada Martov
Ada was my little half-gypsy girl at Telenia. She was adopted by another character Jan Martov, hence the last name.
What color is their hair?
Dark brown and very wavy.
What is their ethnicity?
Romany gypsy, or the Telenian equivalent.
What is their favorite food?
Sweets of any type, though cake with lots of frosting is probably her most favorite.
Do they have a nice singing voice?
Yes, though she's untrained.
Have they ever hurt someone?
Nope. Not intentionally, at least.
Are they a virgin?
I would hope so! She's only 8 years old!
Are they single?
Yes. Again, she's only 8 years old.

About number four: Emma
Emma is my healer character.
Are they male or female?
Female. Duh.
What is their favorite color?
I see her as a pale yellow type.
Who is their worst enemy?
She probably doesn't have a person as an enemy, but I would say that death is her worst enemy.
What sort of clothes do they wear?
A nurse's uniform. Otherwise, something comfortable and somewhat feminine.
Where are they from?
It depends on what story she's in. She's from a smaller community, though, and her entire family was devoted to healing in some way, shape or form.
Are they in a relationship?
Not really. At Telenia, she was almost in a relationship with another healer, but I stopped role-playing before anything really happened. She also had something going on with a healer-soldier who ended up saving her life.
What would they do if they were held at gunpoint?
She would freak out. Faint, possibly. She would also try to take care of anyone who's been shot or otherwise injured.
~
Number five: Rose
Rose is another sci-fi character of mine, though she doesn't have a story at all. She just kind of exists in the back of my head.
Are they magic in any way?
Nope.
What religion are they?
She's probably some sort of future Christian. I'm not sure how religious she is, but she's definitely spiritual. More of a Deist than anything, though, I would say.
Do they have any kids?
Nope.
Has anyone close to them ever died?
Other members of her squadron. She's quiet and good-natured, so she makes friends easily.
If they were an animal, what would they be?
For some reason, I would say a dolphin. They're intelligent and friendly creatures like she is, and very athletic. They're also very social.
What sort of TV programs do they like?
More intellectual ones, I would say. Discovery channel. She'd probably like Mythbusters.
What is their fondest memory?
I would say graduating from the military academy. She graduated with honors.
~
Number six: Cricket (aka Einin)
Cricket's a cheerful little street kid who tends to be loved by all. She's not too intelligent, but she's got a kind heart.
What number would represent them?
Probably seven, since a lot of people pick the number seven. Out of all my characters, people seem to love her the most.
Where are they from?
She's not sure, actually. An orphanage somewhere.
Do they consider themselves pretty?
Nope. She's not old enough.
How often do they sleep?
Whenever she can, as long as she feels safe -- which isn't too often.
Do they daydream?
A little bit.
What is their sexuality?
Um, I think she's straight. She's only had boys doting on her, and that sort of confuses her.
Do they have any hobbies?
She collects shiny things.

Number seven: Evanee Ladron
Evanee (or Eva #2) is another version of Eva (see character #1). In this incarnation, she's still got that drive to be the best, and she's still military -- but her history is different. Her two older brothers were also military, but they died.
Do they like being outdoors?
Yes. In fact, one of her favorite activities is climbing trees and using other people's heads as targets for dropped projectiles.
What's their personality like?
From her profile: Eva is quick-witted and hotheaded. She is intensely loyal to her friends and incredibly dangerous to her enemies. She's also got a bit of an attitude -- some might even call her a smart-ass.
She's also much more comfortable around guys than those of the female gender, probably because she was brought up with three brothers and no sisters. She'll take risks that nobody else will; she's reckless almost to a fault. She's tomboyish and a bit rough around the edges, but she tries her best to make a good impression. Nevertheless, as far as romance and the opposite gender go, she's completely clueless (and a bit confused).
If Eva is guilty of one sin, however, it's pride. Perhaps this is why she's so competitive, so determined to hold her own against the boys, so driven to be the best -- she'll go to extreme lengths to achieve a victory.
She is stoic -- she tries to hid her emotions, seeing them as a sign of weakness. She never cries, and rarely laughs. She may seem strong on the outside, but inside she's just a scared little girl who misses her family dearly.
As she hails from a small village in the north, she's also a little suspicious of those who possess demon attributes or abilities. The only person with any demon attribute in her town was the crazy old witch. Rumor had it that the witch boiled babies alive, then ate them. So naturally, Eva is a bit wary of those who are different. Not enough for her to hate them, but enough for her to feel uncomfortable in their presence.
Oh, and don't ever call her Evanee. It's Eva.
Do they hate anyone?
Probably Darios. And she thinks she hates Dante. And demons. Eventually, Thomas, too, since he is going to insult her. She pretty much hates anyone who tries to bully her.
Do they have a crush? Who?
Possibly Dante (she has a love-hate opinion of him), Valorn (her C.O.), and some others. Niavo and Driscoll both have crushes on her, and perhaps she'll eventually return the favor.
Are they intelligent?
Only somewhat. She's got a good heart, though, and she really does want to succeed.
Those are actually some good questions. I'll have to keep them in mind when I do my weekly character question at Elanthia.
