Atem is being somewhat of a brat, isn't he? Of course, flabbergasted!Yugi isn't helping matters any. But now that they're a bit more relaxed (at least Atem is), we'll see what unfolds between them.
But now a bit of a question: from the Japanese perspective, were Yugi and Atem somewhat in love? Because those tears Yugi shed at the very end seemed to be a bit more than 'I'm sad because my friend is leaving.' And it looked to me that Tea was a bit interested in Atem as well, at least for a while.
He is. lol Of course, he has reason to be so grumpy, and he has *no idea* how to deal with someone like Yugi. But he'll learn. :)

They held hands in one episode, too. LOL
It's not canon that they were in love (but there are so very many hints! It's a joke in YGO fandom that Puzzleshipping is the closest thing to canon out of all the fanon pairings.), and Yugi had a crush on Tea, who had a crush on Yami... who was totally focused on his aibou (Yugi). So, yeah...
Oooh such a great set up! You've totally got me now. D: Your characterization of Yuugi and Atem is spot on, and I want to know what happened at Sagalassos last summer.
By the way- do you prefer reviews here, or on FF.net? I know review count on FF is total pimpage so I wasn't sure if you'd like this comment there.
Anyway, another great installment! :D (I must say that oddly enough, the addition of the chicken-dish was probably a highlight of this chapter for me.)
Thank you! If I'm nailing the characterizations, I'm happy. ^_^

Either is fine, though I'm like everyone else: I love to see that review count go up. LOL I love comments here, too, so it's hard to say which I prefer.

^_^ That was a late addition to the scene. In the first draft, it was just a plain candy dish, but I remembered my grandmother having several of those chicken dishes (people kept giving the tacky things to her as gifts), and I couldn't resist foisting one on Yugi.
I will have to stop reading it before work. Today's chapter had me in stitches and sitting at the desk laughing like a hyena won't improve my neighbours' assessment of my sanity.

Though, 'Millennium Spork' can do that as well.
