Okay, I'll comment. I've been reading you on fanfic.net and you are one of the six authors I have on my favorites list, amongst other things because "Seto Kaiba of Pern" is one of the best stories I've read on ff.net (does blatant flattery get me anywhere?).
Seriously, I have you on my alerts on ff.net -- other than that I don't know what we have in common except a fixation on Yugioh, (and perhaps Kaiba in particular) -- but we could find out...

Well, flattery will get you friended. LOL And, thanks! I really *am* flattered that you like the story so much.

Sounds cool to me. :D I warn you that I tend to rail at Seto when he usurps my brain for his own nefarious purposes (aka muscling his way into my fic), but I try to be amusing about it when I do.
Yeah, that sounds like Kaiba -- "I own your fic, I own you, I own the world, I have money and I'm smarter than you so just write me into the story. NOW!" What is it with that guy? Can't he write his own fiction? No, he has to insert himself into yours... Damn charismatic bastard.... Ah, well....
He did the same thing to me ... I was killing time one day by imagining what it would be like to be a friend of Yugi and crew, and he sort of took over the storyline. Someday I may actually write the whole thing down...
*knocks meekly* Hope you don't mind my f-list request. I found you on the lj_nanowrimo community and gleed at your icon - I was like "Omg, Oh Mighty Isis! I didn't think anybody but me knew about that show!" (I used to watch that when it was paired with Shazam! on CBS Saturday Mornings...won't say when 'cause that would show my age lol).
Anyway, I'm also Raykun on the NaNo boards, trying to not embarass myself for the third year going. I usually try to avoid political stuff on my journal (and what little election-type stuff I do post, I put behind a cut so nobody has to see it if they don't want to). Most of my stuff tends to be either random stuff, or writing, or writing about writing, or whatever strikes my fancy.
I used to watch "The Shazam/Isis Hour" on Sat. mornings, too, so we're probably about the same age. LOL
Most of my NaNo and general writing stuff is in my NaNo LJ at lucid_nanos, so if you're interested in that, too, be sure to apply to join (I'll approve you).
Every syllable of my word count was hard won this year. Gah. It's been like pulling teeth to get even a few words down. I'm hoping it'll get easier when I get over this stupid sinus infection that's bogging me down...
I'll look for you on NaNo, too, and add you as a buddy -- if that's okay?
Thank you. (That's an actress in my icon, btw. Not me.) But she is lovely.
However, I have to say no. I looked at your profile and your LJ, which seems to be almost entirely in Russian. Since I cannot read Russian, I really don't need that on my flist. Also, we seem to have nothing in common. You may, of course, read any public posts I may make.
You don't know me, but I've been following your writing for some time now; and since I think that you're amazing, I'd like to stay in contact, however distant or brief. :'] I'll probably just end up being a lurker, only popping up to comment on something quick before hiding under my rock once again.
I totally understand if you don't want to add a complete stranger to your f-list - I'm really just bored and procrastinating, and trying to find cool people on the Internet that aren't ashamed to admit they love YGO. But I do hope you consider. ^^

Me: Look, dragonboy, this is my brain and I have rules--
Kaiba: Screw your rules, I have plotbunnies!
Me:
I've tried turning them into plotkuriboh in an effort to ward him off, but nothing works...
