I have never commented on stories in fandoms because I like to lay low, but have enjoyed many. This one drove me to comment because I have to let you know that it is so perfectly, devastatingly crafted. It has all the elements of fics that I enjoy with mystery, character angst, injury/healing and emotional and psychological struggles and redemption. I'm not a shipper, but enjoy well-written fics with Adam as the main character involved in a good dramatic story. This one held me spellbound and heartbroken (in a good way) from word one to the end and I didn't want that to ever come! You have great insight into this type of situation and I hope it is not from personal experience! Great job on all the characters too! I eagerly await more from you, you are an extremely talented writer! Thank you for this!

Well, shoot. Thank you. You sound a lot like me, actually. I read a number of stories before I commented on anything and pretty much like to stay hidden. It was only when I decided, "What the hell, let me give this a shot." that I got an LJ id. I'm really gratified you liked the story and appreciate your comments.
