HDRI is badass

Woah.... So some of you guys know how much of a badass Eric Meyer is for CSS right? I've found the equivalent for digital lighting =P He's using a really awesome technique called High Dynamic Range Imaging. Basically, almost all images are 8 bits per pixel, which means the picture can only get so bright. HDRI provides more bits per pixel

Oh, and in case anybody misses it, the artist made comments on what he used at the bottom of the picture. And yes, it's 100% polygon using CG rendering with rendered lights.
