Try walking down the street in your local town seeing homeless people sitting in shop corners, try walking around and seeing someone in pain from being stabbed yet the Hospitals are full of junkies who get high or substitutes for their so called illness. Speaking of which it was likely one of those junkies that stabbed that poor fellow in the first place.

Also, this may sound harsh and it's not my opinion it's simple fact.

African's naturally have as many kids as possible as they don't expect there children to survive. If tomorrow all children stopped dying in africa there would be even more poverty as too many mouths to feed. It's just a vicious circle.

And frankly, i'd rather see people in my own country not dying on the streets than i care about anyone in africa.

I agree with you dude. Last night me and my best friend were talking about Africa, and we said that for them, as sad as it is, poverty is normal. They don't know anything different, thus even though they suffer, it's normal? If you can put it that way. These people live their lives just as we live ours; having children etc, only the circumstances are much different. Their population needs to be controlled -- A limit to one child or something like that.

I fucking agree that OUR countries need to be delt with before we can go changing the world. Yeah we live in fucking better conditions than Africans etc but we have some fucked up shit going on in our countries that need fixing. How the fuck are we meant to save hundreds of millions of starving people in poverty, if we an't even save ourselves?

the kids that are born in africa are born with aids abnd shit. most of them dont have an option. "bombs, drugs, violence, homeless, government. All these issues are fucked in the UK." yeah... maybe we do have homeless people and stuff but nowhere near the amount of poverty thats in africa. If you walk down the highstreet in London your gauranteed to see homeless ppl or druggies. but that doestnt even compare to africa. "In order to even start thinking about helping other countries, we have to sort out our own.... otherwise... there won't be any countries left to help the poor nations." Do you really think the U.K is gonna drive itself into poverty that could ever even compare with africa?? Weve had druggies and bombs for centuries but the U.K and the U.S.A are growing stronger and more powerful every day. Everyone can make a difference. And to say that we cant help. YOUR not a druggie YOUR not homeless so YOU can make a difference. It sounds like such a cliche... but every little helps.
