It's official.
I have a huge Trojan virus on my computer. It has killed nearly everything; I can't use my computer b/c it died or something. According to a computer-savvy friend of mine, I have to reformat my computer, which is a euphemism for deleting everything.
I have 40 gigabytes used out of the allotted 60, and I originally thought I would be able to recover necessary or wanted files (school documents, fonts, images, settings, EVERYTHING, 1200 mp3's, photoshop files, writing) but from the way my computer is spazzin out, I highly doubt I will be able to keep anything.
The thought of 40 gigabytes flushing down the toilet is disconcerting; it's of course, somewhat devastating, and rather ...inconvenient.
My c:/ drive has taken a huge facet of my identity; and I hope something can be done to save some things.
So far this is a rather rough week; my Coolpix 3100 hasn't arrived, my c:/ drive is being ruthlessly slaughtered, I'm making $0 commission at work, I'm well behind on my English readings...
I've got to get my act together soon.
bye, and thanks.
