Festival-angst, medieval joy! (Sorry, no pictures!)

I'm back from Roskilde. Probably for the last time unless they have a really outstanding line-up next year. For the past couple of years, I've felt like I have been outgrowing the festival. It used to be something to look forward to, a place to feel safe and among equal-minded people, but I must admit that it just isn't what it used to be. Or maybe ( Read more... )

I'm SO glad it's not just me!
I have been going to Roskilde since 1989 (ooold me), skipping a couple of years along the way.
I've always called Roskilde "my own privat christmas", but the last few years it just hasn't been. It's still "nice" but not "awesome". And I feel almost guilty because I'm supposed to love it more than I do.
*sigh* Sometimes it's hard to let go.

I know... But I think I have to let it go now.
Looking at the bright side, the price of a ticket can buy you a third of a doll! Only 3 more years and you'll have saved enough for a new doll! ;) (Oh, there was an Iz head for sale this morning on DoA, and I was the first to see it! I had to sit on my hands... :()
Maybe next year I'll go to a festival with more music that I actually like.

I think the program was a little..erm... crappy this year also. No it wasn't crappy, it was just sunday (the only day were I where there) where it was quite boring.
I saw Brian Wilson with my sis, but it wasn't something I couldn't have been without. Though, it was quite nice anyway. There was a lot of people dancing and such ^_^

Well, it sounds nice with a new shop! I must go have a look when the link comes op!

Yeah, sunday wasn't the best. We left before Brian Wilson. (Lucie=old... Nah, I had to get up at 5:00 the next morning) Not that I wanted to see him, I just felt a bit weird leaving before everything was over.

*wishing I had a kitty*

Wow! A medieval accessories shop. That sounds so lovely. I'm so looking forward to see your page. :)
I've wanted to open my own shop (not medieval, though I love medieval) for a long time now. But I guess I have to wait a few years.
Do you know where the shop is going to be placed at?
