Tuesday sadness

A week from now my mother, her husband and my two sisters are going to Australia. They're going to live in Brisbane for 6 months. It's funny, until now I've been really happy for them (and a little bit envious of course) but the closer the departure date gets, the sadder I feel... It's so strange that I won't see them for so long. No more Saturday ( Read more... )

aww, Im sorry to hear your family will leave for Australia, must feel sad to be left behind, but it sounds really nice if you could go visit them in the new year. It sounds as if you are really close to them, I envy that a little bit, I'm not good at keeping in contact with my family and don't see them very often.
Friday I'm going to celebrate my sister's and my own birthday with my father, his wife and my grandmother though, so that's pretty nice. Haven't seen them for several months now :(

I would like to go kick leaves in the forrest too ... oh what a wonderful feeling :D

And by the way, what a sweet thing to do, to make little presents for every family member. How sweet of you :)

Well, I'm not amazingly good at keeping in touch with my family, but we are close. Whenever I see them, it's like we haven't been apart at all. I feel safe with them. I guess that's what a home should feel like. I'm feeling a little better about the whole Australia-thing tonight, but I still think I'll cry when Wednesday comes...
I hope your party tonight is nice! (Perhaps there's a few presents in it for you? ;) )

There's nothing wrong with crying :) But I know it must feel weird not to have a safe home to come visit for a good while ...

The "party" went well, and yes, I got some jewelry (Dhyrberg and Kern - oh the horror!) But I've already returned it and bought a very nice velvet jacket and a Victorian blouse instead. :) I'm very pleased - nice presents and I seldom use a lot of money on clothes so it was nice to buy a beautiful jacket for 1250 kr :P
