and you have every reason to be. :D I sms-ed my friend and she told me she was smiling at her phone in public, HOW EMBARRASSING. :D

It should seriously be declared a national holiday. I couldn't give a damn about the gold/silver playoff. Wasn't as epic. XD

FENG TIANWEI~~~~~ *insert fangirl scream*

Knowing them, we'd be lucky if all the schools even got a half-day. :/

I watched it, but I knew they were going to lose anyway. Oh well.

YAY!!!!!

I'm so happy. I actually managed to catch the single match of Li Jia Wei and it was so disappointing that she lost, it was a close fight.

I'm really glad to hear that the pair match won, yay!

Wasn't it a singles match? I watched Feng Tianwei vs the South Korean girl. I watched till she was down 9-3, but apparently she won the last game and so we got into the finals. XD

Okay this is going to sound terribly hypocritical but I am really happy we have medalled for the first time in 48 years. It is kind of crazy if you think about it. We are so small. I can't really wrap my mind around winning a global competition. Not at all :/

For reals XD. Canada is, uh, not having a very good run this time around. It's sort of become a running joke by now, actually >_>.

Here, have a gander at Canada's medal count chart XD;;;.

Oh dear :/

But see, it's usually Singapore in that position. Always. The PM's been using Olympic medal potential as some kind of starting point for building sports schools, etc, and he's been saying it for so long nobody believes him anymore. I bet he's laughing at all of us right now :(
