It is hard to reconcile half an hour of sitting on my own with Professor Butler having all the crap bits of my vacation essay cheerfully pointed out to me with the closing comment 'But these are just minor quibbles. You're an excellent essay writer, and this was a very enjoyable read

If it /was/ a bad essay, he'd have spent half an hour trying to find the decent bits. I think it's a good thing that he feels confident enough in you to be rude.

Managed to find a mini digi camera for £12 . Not quite as small as Robyn, it is 2" in diameter (Yes it is circular!) but more 'chic'. Doubles up as a web cam, so we will soon be able to see the inarticulate, illiterate idiot LIVE !!! Actually it is quite easy to reconcile his criticism with his concluding remarks. I doubt if you will get more praise from anyone - apart from those who love you dearly!!
