I have to say Erik. The question of whether or not you are a bad guy doesn't really come to play. If it was as important to them as you seem to think it was... they wouldn't be on the side of the road hitch hiking and standing there none the less.. Obligation doesnt' play a roll in this either. You had no obligation, you had no reason or desire to pick them up. You only had guilt caused my your moral standards and your selfless attributes. Impressive you felt the slight tug on your concious. The question is..are they bad people for making you have to ask this ridiculous question?? where they really thinking how it would effect our young and deceived hero of the day? no..they stood out there selfishly looking for a ride. not caring how it would effect innocnet erik van kirk on his ride home from a long and tiring journey. it may not have bothered you to pick them up! but they weren't prepared to care if botheres you that you didn't!!! so techinically you are even with them. you gave them what they gave you.. they were
