Wow. wow.wow.wow. That was painful and beautifully done. It feels like Tony is a ghost at this gathering.
Can I put in my vote for more too please?

Hmm, the way Dr. Strange keeps looking at Tony...this fic has a haunting quality to it, and I would definitely be interested in more! Good job! :)

Thank you! I'm glad the haunting factor was understood. I was really hoping for it too. ^-^;

Omg, you reviewed! I am so happy since you're like... one of the people who has fics I worship! Especially your Clark/Bruce! *0*...Oh dear. I sound like a fangirl. Oopsie.

*sits up and takes interest* Did Tony somehow manage to trade himself for Steve in some way? (with Strange looking at him funny, and the way no one seems to see him, and whatever's going on with his heart, and his hand fading through the mug...)

It's a tiny little detail, but I love Carol and Simon dancing on the air.

I'm really interested to see where the rest of this is going.

I can't say much but I do come from Fullmetal Alchemist fandom and we have a little thing called "Equivalent Exchange"... Won't say anything more than that. It may or may not have some effect here. =d;;;

People who can fly should show off every now and then. -nodnod-

I'm really interested to see where the rest of this is going.

The wait shouldn't be that long, really. My deadline for the next installment is this Friday at midnight. ^-^;;

You have no idea how much and how long I squealed in delight when I saw you reviewing my fic. Especially since RRR really helped cement me into Steve/Tony.

If Tony is a spirit animating the Iron Man armor a la Al, that would be twelve different kinds of awesome and I would make high-pitched noises of glee.

We shall see if that happens or not. =P And a completely off-topic note, you just reminded me it's time for my RolePlaying Tony muse to prod Al about disassembling him (again).

What Elspethdixon said. He sounds like a lost soul, just barely holding onto the physical plane. That would explain why Strange is able to see him so clearly, and why he would look so sad for Tony.

It really pulls at MY heart, reading this. I can just sense the weight that Tony feels. I wonder what the circumstances are in this case. Is he really dead-dead? Did he trade something to bring Steve back? Are the others really aware? Did Steve really notice him toward the end, and if so why him and no one else? Is it because he had been dead once, too?

I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE! Please-please!

I can't really say much since I don't want the surprise to be given away so soon but... you can see it like that. =);; There is a reason why Strange can see him and it does have a small thing with Strange being Sorcerer Supreme. Mysticism really can't escape him, I should think.

Again, not agreeing or disagreeing but I do write fic in the Fullmetal Alchemist fandom and we have a "little thing" called "Equivalent Exchange." How that's involved, I really can't say, even if it's not.

Are the others really aware? Did Steve really notice him toward the end, and if so why him and no one else? Is it because he had been dead once, too?

For now, I'll just let your imagination do my work for me. I can't spoil much. =O!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE! Please- ( ... )

Aaah, FMA, say no more. XD

Sorry not, I tend to present questions because, well, I'm just writing what I'm thinking! No need to spoil the surprise! Shall look forward to this weekend!

this was beautiful.
the way that everyone is ignoring tony and tony himself seems to be fading. the fact that he's ignoring all of the pain in himself.

The world needed a Captain America more than it did an Iron Man
--::stabbing pain:: he thought the same thing in the Red Zone- i'm so glad you added this.

he'll see steve again soon.
--please! he'd better!

i really liked this story and i'm rooting for more from you :D
