Just dropping a note - Reindeerspotting does not romanticize its subject. Far from it. I've seen parts of the raw footage when it was still being edited and for the life of me I can't imagine how anyone could have made it look appealing in any way. I certainly know that wasn't the idea of the person editing the film...

The rating of Reindeerspotting baffles me. The druggies there aren't portrayed cool, they're sad, pathetic, embarrassing and at times scary. If any document would turn people away from drugs it's this one.

I know it's not (even that I've just seen the trailer). Its rarely the intention of any movie or documentary. Its more like people commenting the trailer on web-pages and some reviews.

I don't get the rating either. Documentary k18??? Especially as in Finland rating is usually connected to really gory violence. Makes no sense.
