Oh wise one, what would we ever do without you?

P.S. I made and uploaded several new icons for you to use at your leisure (all keeping with the vanpelt theme). Let me know if you need assistance in using or finding them

As for Peter's oatmeal, he's very happy with the Stop & Shop Raisins, Walnuts, Date variety. I suppose if I were a better person, I'd go buy real oatmeal along with raisins, walnuts, and dates and mix it up for him every morning while wearing something matronly and singing a Julie Andrews ditty.

I'm a horrible person.

Truth be told, I'd prefer eggs benedict every morning. Lucy - is that wrong?

i am new to this journal thing so i will reply to all at once. forgive me if i have bad etiquette.
1- duncan it is a good sign that you want to make peters oatmeal for him but in the long run lets be honest shall we. its in peters best interest to make his own and he will only rebel against your healthy oatmeal and start eating mcmuffins or worse capt crunch. (i loved capt crunch, froot loops, frosted flakes and honeycombs. oh how i loved honeycombs). thinking of you in an apron singing is a natural thought. i myself make sure stephanie has coffee each morning and lunch to take with her.
2-peter you can certainly have eggs benedict as long as you dont mind only using one side of your body after the stroke. for your sake i hope its your good side.
3- gavin i sense your sarcasm and i hope its not true. you will soon learn what others have come to know, i am rarely wrong.

Sarcasm? No, no, no...my reaction was true and heartfelt (otherwise I would have left out the part where I told you I created more icons for you to use).

Also, just so you know - while you are rarely wrong, I have come to the realization that I am always right...whether or not others wish to believe me.
